Akiko's Pottery Summer Open House
The days are long, the studio has been busy, and I've got fresh work ready to find a home. Which means it's time to open the doors again.
I'd love for you to join me for my Summer Open House — come browse new pieces, sip some housemade sake, snack a little, and maybe let a bowl or two follow you home.
This open house I've been pouring a lot of love into black glaze on black clay — oval slab bowls, slab soup bowls, 10.5" slab plates — and I'll have a limited edition run of pieces in a black + silver + grey tone that won't be restocked once they're gone.
That said, there'll be plenty of other work on hand too, so come with an open mind and see what speaks to you.
I'll have housemade sake poured and snacks out, so settle in, wander a little, and try very hard not to pick up every bowl and whisper “you're coming home with me.”
Bring a friend or two and come say hi. I hope to see you there!
Note on Parking: You’re welcome to park on the street but please be mindful and do not block any of the neighboring home driveways.
