My pottery—and that of two other potters—will be displayed and for sale at the TAM Gift Shop as part of the 36 Views of Japanese Woodblock Prints exhibit.

Wheel Thrown Class for Beginners (April & May 2008)
Akiko's studio • 1 to 3 people per class

• Wednesday: 10:30am - 1:00pm or 7:00pm - 9:30pm
• Thursday: 9:30am - 12:00 noon or 1:00pm - 3:30pm
• Friday: 9:30am - 12:00 noon

The class includes material and cleaning time (please finish cleaning by the end-of-class time listed above). The cost is $40 per class, or $144 for four classes in one month (10% discount).

Hand Building Class for Beginners

A two-hour class that includes materials and cleaning time, plus one additional hour at a later time for glazing. The cost is $50 for all three hours, due at the class.

Tile Glazing

If you've always wanted to have your own hand-painted tiles, now you can do it! I'll provide you with bisque-fired tiles which you can decorate at my studio, then I'll fire them for you. Tile glazing is available at various days and times; please contact me for more information (206-763-3108).
